Play and experiment with rays of light.
Learn about different properties of light through hands-on experiments. Kids will play with lasers using a water glass tank - bend it, reflect it, refract it, and predict where it will go. They will use colored flashlights to mix light colors and compare it with mixing paint colors. They will use prisms to split a ray of light into a rainbow. We will discuss the invisible and visible spectrum and how human eyes work and compare it with how other animals see the spectrum.
Kids will work in small groups and try to come up with a fun game using light principles they learn.
